Why are OROXID® products different from other mouthwashes on the market?
They are very different, introducing a new mechanism of action for treating oral problems. OROXID works based on a mechanism of peroxide and oxide compounds that have been known in medicine for centuries. It is the best approximation of the oxidative compounds also produced by the cells of our immune system in defence against bacteria, fungi and viruses. Immune cells produce peroxide compounds that specifically bind to the metal ion in the cell wall of microbes and destroy them.
